Don’t Stumble

I just wanted to come on here and talk about one of my biggest time wasters when I have nothing to do. Its called StumbleUpon , this tool in my firefox is pretty cool if I have nothing to do. It looks for sites that you might be interested in according to your initial setttings, check it out.

I started C++

On Monday I started my general elective class at a local community college. I am taking the programming language C and C++. The reason I decided to take C++ was to get a familiar base with the programming languages. I hear that C++ is the base language so I think that in order for me to understand different programming languages that is a good place to start.

The teacher is a little over the top, the kind that think that everyone is out to get him and that we as a society are on the path to inevitable nuclear war. Well you can imagine how the class is during his lectures/preachings. Anyways the class is ok and interesting, I just hope that I don’t adapt his views.

Memorial Weekend

This weekend was the memorial holiday, this is the day where we remember all those who have taken the oath to protect this great country of ours. As a former Army Infantryman I just want to thank all of the people who volunteer to go around the world and make sure that we could live out the freedoms that we sometimes take for granted or we forget how it came to be that we got those liberties. Please if you know somebody who serves or served in the military, say thanks and pray for them.

Free Fonts

I just recently downloaded stumbleupon, I know its been around for awhile, but anyways. It sent me to this cool site that gives free fonts. The site is called typenow.com.

Nettuts.com

If you have ever looked at psdtuts.com and done some of there tutorials, you know that they mean business. They are some of the best online tutorials for photoshop. Now the same people who made psdtuts.com have made a tutorial site for web design and development. It is called Nettuts.com, it is really cool and very easy to understand take a look.
